My NBA 2k11 Story

My relationship with NBA 2k11 and its "My Player" mode has turned into a marriage. I love it because it's a ton of fun and really addicting, yet it annoys the crap out of me and is the first game ever having me automaticly yelling shit out IRL.

For you who don't know: In "My Player" mode you create your own basketball player, and start off by trying to get drafted to the NBA. If you play good from the start you might end up in a NBA-team, if you're bad/mediocre you end up in the D-League (farm-league). Then you play for big numbers and bringing home wins for your team by playing smart (it's not all about scoring as good passes that leads to scores is also important, and the game understands that). It is in fact the best basketball-game ever made, it's very realistic. Yet it still gets really annoying. Let me tell you about my experience so far.

Barbeque - CHECK!

FINALLY i fired up the grill yesterday and barbequed the shit out of a steak (a "Flintastek" as we call it in Sweden). I made it too hot though so I burned the steak pretty hard but it was still eatable - And it tasted awesome. Tiny bit too salty but still really good. Had some potato sallad with that. Had great company by a couple of friends. We had some beer - I had a few too many and managed to pass out on the bathroom floor, which is turning into a thing for me more or less (I really need to start controlling my drinking sooon lol). However: Barbeque, Steak, Potato Sallad and Beer = Proper Swedish Summer!

What's happening ya'll!

Thought I should post something here out of boredom. Not much going on. Waiting for the Firelands patch in WoW. Not sure why as the guild I'm in isn't actively raiding at the moment. They are trying to get raids up and running now, but the leaders can only raid during weekends. I guess I'll try to help out and host some mid-week raids.

Alot of people has quit WoW. Not only people that I know, but about 600 000 people have cancelled their subscription. And I get why. There's not much to do in WoW nowdays other then clearing content that you've already seen a ton of time, or do PvP. However BG's are mostly lame in my opinion, and it's just a way to farm honor. Arena requires arena-mates, and I'd prefer doing Arena with IRL-mates. The only person I know IRL who plays WoW atm isn't even max level so that's out of the question.

But... Screw WoW! The summer has hit and the time for BBQ's and hanging out at the beach is here! Well... I haven't been doing any barbequing yet (my own fault and it pisses me off). And my body doesn't allow me to go to the beach at the moment. I've decided to start exercising this summer, so I'll be ready for beach 2012, and start feeling a bit better about myself. :D

I'm going to start my exercising as soon as I've moved back home to mom, which I'm doing for several reasons. One being I'm not so sure how things will turn out with work. Not doing too well lately and I'm getting tired of it. So I will start applying for new jobs now.

Scrub Life

Oh yeeaaa! Finally it has arrived: Scrub Life! Wax's latest release. It's hosted by DJ Skee, and features 16 sick Wax-songs and one song by Dale Firebird (Wax's alter ego?). The songs are produced by Wax himself, EOM, The Fyre Department, Nobody Famous, Finatik & Zac, Jim Jonsin and of course: Dale Firebird.

The mixtape overall is sick as F***. One of the best things so far this year for me. Some songs have been available on Wax's YouTube-channel for a while (like Red and Wax Goes Bananas). They also put out a studio-recorded version of New Crack which was one of Wax's first videos on YouTube where he was spitting it while driving a car through LA, it was his first video to hit over 1 million viewers.

New Year and Cataclysm!

What's up people!

Only took me 3-4 months to publish a new post on here. When I haven't been working hard on my job, I've been working hard on running a WoW-guild called Jinx with some friends. The whole WoW-part is going better and better, while the work-part is suffering. However I am pulling myself back up on top and I'm planning on showing my employer that I'm the best and what I do, because I am.

Anyhow I'm mostly writing to show people I haven't died. And I'm planning on making a new blog that will be in Swedish and about World of Warcraft. You will find it here.

I'm not giving up on this blog however. I will be posting updates here every now and then. Just have to find something to write about.

Since I didn't make any post for new years I wish you a Happy 2011. Follow my blog(s) and I'll talk to you soon!
